It was quickly approaching show season, and while Double M Acres had three fantastic riding horses, AJ Weghcoth caught wind of stunning black mare with sixty days riding and immense potential in any discipline she chose and couldn’t help but pursue the mare with interest. Pretty soon, she had travel to meet the mare in person and then had a vet check and then quicker than she could have ever expected, she was signing a purchase agreement document and setting up a time to pick up the new horse.

Conformation: Rachael is very athletic and slenderly built. She has a very thoroughbred like quality to her, but heavier bone to her over all frame that your fit thoroughbred. A well muscled hip is slightly flat with a high set tail. Great loin attachment to a strong, short back and peaking withers. Her shoulder is neither extraordinary nor average, but rather pleasant to look at as well a providing a smooth ride. She has a very muscular, high-set neck which attaches to a long, feminine head and curious eye. Her legs a well formed and straight with slightly long, angled pasterns.

Temperament: Although her name would suggest that Rachael is violent and flighty, she is ironically very docile and calm. This is not to say she isn't hot though, her athleticism makes her very high-strung, but in a overly curious, mind-going-a-million-miles-a-minute type of horse. She isn't overly affectionate to people or other horses, she would much rather have a job and succeeding at it. Very bold and willing, we hope that she will dominate the cross-country field in her up-and-coming career!
